Elevation Certificates

Surveyors perform surveys for and prepare elevation certificates for individual structures so that flood insurance rates can be accurately determined. These certificates can also be used to remove a structure from a flood hazard zone and the requirement of flood insurance if the elevations indicate that the structure is vertically above the 1% flood elevation. As an approved "eLOMA Professional" Stan can sometimes shorten the determination process for removal of a structure from the flood hazard zone by weeks.
