Many times after an accident occurs a surveyor is needed to determine the ownership of the property where the accident occurred. A surveyor can be called in to document specific details about the accident site which might have contributed to why the accident occurred such as slope or irregularity of a sidewalk or paved surface. After hurricanes and early snow storms, many property owners sought the services of a surveyor to determine where property lines were in relation to large trees which appeared to be unstable so that the cost of removal could be paid by the responsible property owner.
